Secure your next project with 1 1/2 Inch White Velcro® Hook Only from Country Brook Design. Designed as the rough, gripping half of the classic hook-and-loop fastening system, this hook tape gives you a dependable way to attach, detach, and reattach materials again and again. Sold separately from the loop side, you can buy exactly the component you need, replace worn hook strips on existing gear, or pair it with loop tape you already have on hand. Whether you sew, build, organize, or repair, genuine Velcro® brand hook delivers the trusted grip that professionals and hobbyists count on. Country Brook Design stands behind every order with careful quality checks and a friendly support team ready to help you choose the right materials for your work.
Measuring 1 1/2 inches wide, this hook tape offers a generous gripping surface that holds firmly without adding bulk. Its clean white finish blends discreetly into light-colored fabrics, interiors, signage, and retail displays, keeping your fastening points neat and out of sight. Choose the backing that fits your method. The sew-on version uses a woven nylon base treated with a binder coating that helps resist fraying along cut edges, so it stitches cleanly by hand or machine. The pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) version features a peel-and-stick backing for fast, no-sew installation on smooth, clean surfaces like plastic, metal, wood, and glass. Both options deliver high initial peel and shear strength and are engineered to withstand repeated opening and closing cycles. For a complete closure, pair the hook side with any 1 1/2 inch Velcro® brand loop tape.
Put this versatile fastener to work across a wide range of tasks. Crafters use it for costumes, bags, and fabric projects, while home organizers rely on it for cable management, curtain tiebacks, and storage solutions. It also performs well in upholstery, trade show displays, marine canvas and cushions, and light industrial applications. For best results with adhesive-backed tape, clean and dry the surface first, press firmly along the full length, and allow up to 24 hours for the bond to set before applying stress. Keep in mind that hook-and-loop fasteners are designed for convenience, not critical loads. Velcro® Hook Only is not suitable for climbing, lifting, or any life-supporting application, and should not be used to hold weight where failure could cause injury or damage. Adhesive performance can vary with surface texture and temperature, so test in an inconspicuous spot before full installation.
