Country Brook Craft Supply
Built by People Who Actually Make Things
We're Country Brook Craft Supply — a family-operated craft supply company in Moulton, Alabama. We've been here since 2003, and we're still here because we do something most craft suppliers don't: we actually make things.
Our team sews, cuts, sublimation-prints, and handles the materials we sell — in our own building, in a small town in north Alabama. When we say a buckle holds or a webbing won't fray, it's because someone here tested it with their own hands. That's been true since 2003 and it's still true today.
How We Got Here
Country Brook started in 2003 as a webbing and hardware supplier. Nylon, polypropylene, buckles, D-rings, snap hooks — the building blocks that become dog collars, leashes, bag straps, lanyards, and a hundred other projects. We built our reputation one roll at a time, earning the trust of DIY makers, Etsy sellers, and small pet brands who needed materials that showed up right and held up under use.
Twenty-plus years later, that foundation hasn't changed. What's changed is what we're building on top of it.
We've expanded into thread, YKK zippers, and cutting tools — and we're continuing to grow into new categories that makers actually need to finish their projects without ordering from five different sites. The goal isn't to carry everything. It's to carry the right things, know them deeply, and stand behind every one of them.

What Makes Us Different
There are a lot of places to buy craft supplies online. Here's what most of them don't have: a workroom behind the website.
We know materials, not just SKUs. Two decades of working with webbing, hardware, and textiles means we understand what holds weight, what takes dye, what frays, and what doesn't. That knowledge is in every product description, every customer service call, and every decision about what we choose to carry.
We make things in-house. Our sewing and sublimation operations aren't outsourced. When you buy a custom-printed strap or a finished product from us, it was made by someone in our building. That's rare in e-commerce, and it's the reason we can stand behind our quality the way we do.
We're a real place with real people. Moulton, Alabama — population roughly 3,400. You can call us and talk to someone who was in the warehouse this morning. We've been doing it that way for over twenty years because it works, for us and for the people we serve.

What We Believe
Materials should be trustworthy and affordable — not one or the other. The craft supply market has a gap: big-box commodity products you can't rely on, or indie brands priced for special occasions. We think everyday making deserves supplies you can trust at prices that don't require justification.
Where things come from matters. We're a family business in a specific place, and that specificity is part of who we are. As we expand into new product categories, we're committed to knowing our supply chain — not just technically, but honestly. If we can't tell you where something comes from and why we chose it, we won't carry it.
The work matters more than the story about the work. You've decided to make something with your hands, and you need materials that won't let you down. Whether that's your first crochet project or your five-hundredth dog collar, our job is the same: carry what you need, know it well, and be here when you have questions.

Who Shops With Us
A wider range of people than you might expect.
First-time crafters buying their first roll of webbing for a dog collar tutorial they found on YouTube. Experienced sewists who've been sourcing hardware from us for years. Etsy sellers building small product lines who need consistency they can count on. Pet brands scaling up and looking for a single partner for webbing, hardware, and custom printing. And increasingly, makers exploring new crafts — crochet, knitting, sewing — who are looking for a supply source that feels trustworthy without feeling corporate.
What they have in common: they'd rather make something than buy something, and they want supplies from people who understand that.
