Our super heavy polypropylene webbing is a woven flat strip of fabric that is used in many different applications. Comprised of woven fibers, polypropylene webbing is flexible and soft to the touch. Unlike nylon, polypropylene doesn’t stretch. Created from high strength polypro, it offers sturdiness from its woven design. Our polypro has a tensile strength of 1,893 pounds. We strongly recommend that you use no more than 25% of the tensile strength of any webbing. Tensile strength is the average breaking point under good conditions at the factory. For this webbing, we suggest using a hardware that is designed for 1 ¼ inch webbing. D-rings, buckles, triglides, etc., are sized by the webbing or straps that they are to be used with. Polypropylene webbing can be used in a wide variety of projects, including but not limited to: bags, straps, handles, reinforcements, luggage, backpacks, tie downs, sporting goods, rafting, boating, tow ropes, military, survival utility, camping, and general purpose straps
