Its stiffness sits in a useful middle ground: firmer than soft automotive-style webbing, yet more pliable than heavy tank strap webbing. The straps stay in place on your rig while still moving comfortably with your body. Out of the package, it feels a little stiff, but after some time in the water it loosens up and conforms to your shape. The coyote brown color is solution-dyed, meaning it is mixed directly into the nylon fiber instead of applied afterward, so it holds up well to sun and saltwater. Strong nylon construction handles ongoing moisture and salt exposure, with tensile strength typically between 2,800 and 4,250 lbs, depending on the weave.
