Upgrade your next harness build with 2 Inch Foliage Green Scuba Webbing. Designed for divers who prefer to customize their backplate and wing systems, this nylon webbing provides a reliable base for new rigs, replacement straps, and quick repairs. Its earthy foliage green blends naturally into outdoor and tactical environments, making it as useful on land as it is underwater. Country Brook Design stands behind every roll, backed by a commitment to quality and a team ready to help you find the right fit for your project.
Explore the details that make it dive-ready. Measuring 2 inches (5.1 cm) wide, it threads easily through standard scuba backplate slots and pairs with 2-inch buckles, D-rings, and tri-glides. Its stiffness is carefully balanced, sitting between soft automotive-style webbing and rigid tank strap webbing. That balance lets it keep its shape on your rig underwater while still flexing comfortably around your body. New webbing may feel a bit firm straight off the roll, but it relaxes and shapes itself to you after a few wet sessions. Solution dyeing locks the foliage green color into the nylon fiber rather than coating the outside, so your straps hold their color against saltwater and sun. Durable nylon construction withstands repeated moisture and salt exposure, and tensile strength typically ranges from 2,800 to 4,250 lbs, depending on the weave.
Turn it into backplate and wing harnesses for steel or aluminum plates, custom weight belts, rifle slings, pack and duffel straps, gear loops, utility tie-downs, or marine rigging that secures accessories in wet or saltwater conditions. Before you start, review a few important limits. Webbing is not suitable for climbing, rappelling, fall arrest, or supporting human weight. Do not exceed 25% of the rated tensile strength in everyday use, and check your straps regularly for fraying, abrasion, or cuts. Factory splices may be present within a roll, so measure and inspect before cutting, and keep splices away from load-bearing sections. Heat-seal cut ends with a hot knife or lighter to stop unraveling.
