1/2 Inch Economy Contoured Side Release Plastic Buckles can be a key component in any project using 1/2 Inch webbing, strapping, or material. Side release buckles feature an easy, one handed release design that helps to avoid accidental opening.
Collars, belts, harnesses, backpacks, paracord bracelets, and much more can be created with this versatile hardware. These are also great additions to small pet collars. When creating a collar for pets or bracelets, contoured accessories are more comfortable to wear; also allowing for a tighter fit so that it will feel more snug.
Created to be used with webbing that is a 1/2 inch width, this clip works great with paracord, nylon, polyester, polypropylene, and is compatible with many other fabrics. D-rings, buckle, triglides etc. are matched by the size of the webbing or straps they are meant to be used with.
This style clip allows “adjustments’' on one end. Meaning that it cinches or holds webbing for tightening / loosening straps when using heavy or super heavy webbing. However, if you are using lightweight webbing, we highly recommend using a triglide slide along with this buckle.
