Tackle bigger builds with genuine VELCRO® brand loop tape in Coyote, color #459. This wide-format tape gives heavy-duty projects a fastening system that opens and closes on command, cutting out the need for zippers, buckles, or extra stitching along a seam. The loop side is woven nylon with a soft fiber surface, engineered to catch and hold firmly against a matching hook surface. Pull the pieces apart, and they release cleanly, ready to reattach as many times as your project needs. Backed by decades of use across outdoor, tactical, and industrial gear, this loop tape is built to perform where a lighter-duty tape falls short. Every roll is manufactured entirely in the USA to meet Berry Amendment requirements, produced under federal specification A-A-55126B, the current classification that succeeded the earlier A-A-55126C standard.
Engineered with precision loop technology, this tape spans a generous 6 inches across, giving you enough surface area to cover panels, seat backs, and other broad attachment points in a single pass. Coyote #459 is formulated to coordinate with #498 colored components, so mixed pieces from those two color families read as a matched set rather than a mismatched patch job. This is the loop side only — pick up a matching length of the hook side separately to complete a two-sided closure. The backing takes a needle and thread cleanly, holds up to machine washing and dry cleaning, and resists the fraying that can creep in on cheaper woven tapes over time. Rolls at this length may arrive as multiple shorter sections, and factory splices can occasionally appear along a longer cut. Let the support team know before ordering if a continuous, splice-free length matters for your build, and they'll do what they can to arrange it (not available on wholesale orders — we apologize for the inconvenience).
Reach for this wider tape on gear panels, duffel bag flaps, seat cushions, morale patches, and any surface that needs a strong, releasable bond across a large area. Attach and swap patches on packs and uniforms, secure heavy tarps and covers, or rebuild a worn-out closure on bags and outdoor equipment. Note a few usage limits before you start: this tape is not built for climbing, rigging, or other critical load-bearing uses, and applied loads should stay under 25% of the tape's tensile strength. Because this is a single-sided (loop only) roll, be sure to order matching hook tape before cutting into a project.
