Polypropylene and Nylon Binding
Country Brook Design® offers two types of binding material. Depending on your project, it's helpful to compare nylon binding tape and polypropylene binding to make sure you choose the right material:
Nylon Binding Tape:
- 100% nylon
- excellent choice in sewing applications
- pliable and lightweight
- ensures "ease" around rounded edges
- no puckering, unlike cotton or polypropylene tapes
- gives a finished edge to aprons, bags, purses
Polypropylene Binding:
- made from thermoplastic resins
- perfect for outdoor use
- UV-resistant and waterproof
- won't stretch
- more resistant to acid, alkaline, oil, and grease
- great for horse blankets, bag handles, shoulder straps
