Complete your closure with 1" Wolf Grey VELCRO® Brand Hook Only tape, the gripping half of a genuine mil-spec hook-and-loop fastener made to A-A-55126 standards. Built for gear makers, repair shops, and builders who need materials that match what's already in the field, this sew-on hook tape locks onto matching loop with a firm, reliable hold. Use it for pouch closures, patch panels, and adjustable attachments that open fast when you need access and stay shut when you don't.
Every length is built for rugged, everyday performance. The tape measures 1 inch wide, with rows of stiff, durable hooks that engage loop tape with strong shear and peel resistance. Its sew-on, non-adhesive backing forms a lasting bond that outperforms sticky-back tape, especially on nylon, canvas, and heavy fabrics that flex and bend. For the cleanest, longest-lasting attachment, stitch around all four edges with a heavy-duty needle and bonded thread. Wolf Grey is a cool, medium grey that matches Wolf Grey equipment and works well on urban, law enforcement, and low-profile builds. Shades can vary by dye lot and gear generation, so compare the tape against your current gear before sewing. Hook tape mates with any standard 1" loop tape, sold separately, including the matching Wolf Grey loop.
Use this hook tape to build or repair plate carriers, chest rigs, pouch flaps, morale patch backings, sleeve pockets, and modular accessories. The 1" width is a natural fit for smaller patch panels, name tapes, cable keepers, and compact pouch closures. Pet gear makers rely on hook strips for working dog vests and harness panels that carry removable patches and handle covers. Place hook tape where it won't rub against bare skin, fur, or delicate fabrics, since exposed hooks can snag sweaters, fleece, and pet coats. Close the hook against its loop before laundering to keep lint out of the hooks. Hook and loop is intended for closures and light attachment only. Do not use this product for climbing, rappelling, fall protection, or any life-support or critical load-bearing purpose, and never rely on it as the only way to secure heavy items. Longer lengths may contain factory splices, so inspect your tape before cutting. On pet products, supervise your pet and replace any strip that becomes frayed or chewed.
