Genuine YKK® hook fastener tape in Foliage Green delivers the dependable, reusable closure that outdoor gear, uniforms, and field equipment depend on. Designed to pair with a separately sold loop-side strip, this sew-on hook tape lets you fasten and release again and again, making it a smart choice for building new gear, adding patch backings, or replacing a worn-out closure without buttons, zippers, or sticky residue.
Measuring 2 inches wide, this hook-only tape comes in Foliage Green, a muted gray-green shade widely used on tactical gear, packs, and load-bearing equipment. Woven nylon construction gives the hooks a firm, consistent grip while keeping the tape flexible enough to stitch cleanly. Sewing is the intended attachment method; no adhesive backing is included, so plan to stitch it directly onto fabric for a secure, lasting bond. Care is easy, too, since the tape handles both machine washing and dry cleaning. Keep in mind this listing covers hook only; a matching loop-side strip is needed to complete any closure.
Put this tape to work backing morale and ID patches, securing pouch and pack closures, organizing cables and gear, or finishing clothing that needs quick on-and-off access. Cutting to length lets you size it for nearly any project, small or large. Manufacturing can leave occasional factory splices within a roll, and load on the material should never exceed 25% of its rated tensile strength. Climbing, rigging, or any other life-critical application falls outside this tape’s intended use, which is for general fastening tasks only.
