Tubular webbing is pressed flat, so it looks like normal flat nylon webbing, but it is sewn as a hollowed-out tube. While flat nylon webbing can easily get caught or snagged on rocks, tubular webbing naturally "rolls" around rock, avoiding cuts and abrasions. Premium-grade nylon gives this webbing tenacity for rock climbing, rafting, camping, and other general outdoor activities.
