Plastic Snap Hooks

Plastic snap hooks are extremely durable fasteners used on bags, backpacks and other webbing projects as a fast way to secure or release webbing straps or keep items where you can access them quickly. Snap hooks have an easy-to-press flat side which allows a one-handed connection that is virtually impossible to unintentionally unhook.

These items can also be used on dog leashes, backpacks, bags and purses; in sports for climbing gear and equipment bags for golf, baseball, and other sports; and in the great outdoors for camping gear bags and hiking daypacks.

Carol's Tip: Add a plastic snap hook to a DIY bag, an existing gear bag or backpack: just insert a piece of webbing (melt the ends with a flame to prevent fraying) through the base of the snap hook, stitch it securely to the bag. Keep up with keys, ID cards for work, or even a small flashlight!
