Polypropylene and Nylon Binding
Country Brook Craft Supply offers two types of binding material. Depending on your project, it's helpful to compare nylon binding tape and polypropylene binding to make sure you choose the right material:
Nylon Binding Tape:
- 100% nylon
- excellent choice in sewing applications
- pliable and lightweight
- ensures "ease" around rounded edges
- no puckering, unlike cotton or polypropylene tapes
- gives a finished edge to aprons, bags, purses
Polypropylene Binding:
- made from thermoplastic resins
- perfect for outdoor use
- UV-resistant and waterproof
- won't stretch
- more resistant to acid, alkaline, oil, and grease
- great for horse blankets, bag handles, shoulder straps
